Collector’s Box Set ‘Quintessential Lee Miller’

An editioned, retrospective box set of 6 Gelatin Silver Fine Prints. Curated by Mark Haworth-Booth and handprinted by Carole Callow, Estate Fine Printer for the Lee Miller Archives, in 2007, to mark the centenary of Lee Miller’s birth and the ‘Art of Lee Miller’ exhibition at the V&A.

Each box contains a handprinted curator’s essay and the following images:

  • Picnic, Nusch & Paul Eluard, Roland Penrose, Man Ray and Ady Fidelin, Ile Sainte-Marguerite, Cannes, France 1937
  • Exploding hand, Paris, France c1930
  • Bügermeister of Leipzig’s daughter after suicide, Germany 1945
  • Hampstead Fair, London England 1949
  • Saul Steinberg at Farley Farm, Chiddingly, England 1950
  • Firemasks, Downshire Hill, London, England 1941

Each print has the Lee Miller Archives centenary authentication stamp verso, signed by Antony Penrose. The box set comes with an Authentication certificate.
