Gift Package - Book: Man Ray & Lee Miller partners in Surrealism with brooch and pin stud of Lee Miller's lips
The Surrealist artists Man Ray and Lee Miller lived together between 1929 and 1932, first as a teacher and student and then as lovers. After they split up, Man Ray used images of Lee Millers eyes and lips as motifs in his photography, paintings and sculpture. The brooch and pin made in pewter with a gold finish are inspired by Man Ray's solid gold sculpture of Lee Miller's lips, made after 1933.
